1 — LIST WHAT YOU ACTUALLY OWN
Only list items that you own or have the legal right to sell.
Listings must accurately represent the item being offered. Do not list counterfeit, stolen, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful items.
2 — KEEP IT WEDDING-RELATED
The Ivory Vault is intended for wedding-related treasures, including items such as bridal fashion and accessories, décor, ceremony and reception pieces, signage, tabletop items, stationery-related pieces, and other appropriate wedding items.
We may remove listings that are unrelated to weddings or do not fit the purpose of the marketplace.
3 — BE HONEST ABOUT CONDITION
Tell the next owner exactly what they're getting.
Disclose stains, damage, alterations, missing pieces, wear, defects, or other significant imperfections in your description.
For previously worn clothing, shoes, veils, accessories, and similar items, sellers should accurately describe their condition and any known alterations.
4 — USE ACCURATE PHOTOS
Whenever possible, use clear photographs of the actual item being sold.
Photos and other content used in a listing must be yours or content you have permission or legal authority to use.
Do not intentionally edit or present photographs in a way that materially misrepresents an item's condition, color, size, quantity, or appearance.
5 — PRICE & TRANSACT HONESTLY
Sellers are responsible for setting their own prices. Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing on the final price, payment method, shipping or pickup arrangements, and any other transaction terms before exchanging payment or merchandise.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Ivory Vault does not process or guarantee member-to-member payments.
Never send money or merchandise if something about a transaction feels suspicious.
6 — KEEP YOUR LISTINGS CURRENT
If an item is sold, unavailable, or no longer for sale, please remove or update the listing promptly.
Do not knowingly advertise items that are no longer available.
7 — COMMUNICATE WITH KINDNESS
Use The Ivory Vault's messaging tools respectfully.
Harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, fraud, spam, impersonation, intentionally misleading communications, or attempts to exploit another member are not permitted.
8 — PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Do not place sensitive personal information in a public listing, including your full home address, financial information, passwords, or other confidential information.
When arranging local pickup, share only the information reasonably necessary to complete the exchange.
9 — PROHIBITED LISTINGS
Members may not list stolen or counterfeit goods; illegal or recalled items; hazardous or unsafe materials; weapons; drugs or controlled substances; explicit sexual content; items that infringe another person's intellectual-property rights; or anything prohibited by applicable law or The Ivory Vault's policies.
The Ivory Vault may remove any listing we reasonably believe presents a legal, safety, fraud, or marketplace-integrity concern.
10 — WE'RE A COMMUNITY, BUT ALSO A PLATFORM
The Ivory Vault provides the marketplace that helps members find and connect with one another. We do not own, inspect, authenticate, possess, ship, or guarantee member-listed items.
Members are responsible for evaluating listings, communicating with one another, and deciding whether and how to complete a transaction.
11 — WE MAY STEP IN WHEN NECESSARY
We reserve the right to remove listings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe a member or listing violates our Terms, these Marketplace Rules, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of The Ivory Vault.
